most of my reviews are 5 star. these shoes are a very good value but were not comfortable. i had just purchased a pair of Asics for $120 and they were great for running but i wanted something to wear day to day. the soles were just a bit too hard and lumpy. instead of returning them i took them to the mission where some homeless person would get a brand new pair. i took a chance and purchased another Asics- the gt2000-3 and these are fabulous. rear and forefoot gel and a much more comfortable fit. you can see my review on that shoe if you want.
